Amazing B&B in Fasano Italy
My wife and I for years wanted to visit Fasano Italy.  We found Villa Tonia Bed and Breakfast and we loved everything about it.  The grounds are beautiful, the rooms were exceptionally clean and nice, the breakfast every day was a treat for royalty, and the owners, Vito and Tonia as well as the staff were a delight.  They were very helpful and always trying to assist if needed and trying to please with a smile.  They speak only Italian so having a phone translation app is a must and helped us communicate nicely. The location, a little down a country road (Contrada), was very close to Fasano central and a great base for visiting many wonderful towns in Puglia.We were there September 2022 and the cost to stay at Villa Tonia is a great bargain in our opinion.Only slight negative was that at times the Internet was sporadic but may have only been   an issue during our stay.If you book a room here you will be very pleased.We happily give Villa Tonia 5 Stars.

Puglia and Fasano were wonderful but Villa Tonia unfortunately was a big disappointment.
Let’s start by sharing the positive parts of our experience at Villa Tonia…having said that, unfortunately we also have serious negative parts to share.First of all, the villa itself and the sites are beautiful and well kept. Our accomodation was pretty and very clean. We got clean towels daily and our sheets were changed regularly.Villa Tonia is situated about 4 kilometers from a nice small town, Fasano, which offers some excellent and affordable restaurants with good food and wine. That is the summary of the positive part of our experience at Villa Tonia.The negative part of our review started right away upon arrival which was around noon. The gate was closed. When we rang the bell we instantly did not feel welcome. The manager, who did not speak a word of English or another language than Italian, responded to our arrival like a dog who was protecting his territory. Although our arrival was announced – including e.t.a. -  he tried to send us away. This welcome was unlike any review we had read and raised a lot of questions. Using hand gestures and us using some Spanish, he ended up allowing us to at least leave our luggage. While doing that we could tell he was attempting to explain to us all the rules at the hotel but we only understood the following two. We had to shower before using the pool and could not touch anything at the breakfast. Talking about the breakfast; the website and booking site state that breakfast is served outside at the pool area during summer. The weather was gorgeous during our stay, but breakfast was served in a dark room inside every day. We read great reviews of the breakfast and had high expectations. To our disappointment breakfast mostly consisted of factory made individually wrapped food, like waffles and crackers and juice boxes. Coffee was served from a thermos and not very good. There were no eggs prepared for guests, no fresh juices. There was nobody serving anything as a matter of fact.Our room was supposed to have a view of the garden and pool area and have a kitchen and tea/coffee facilities. As the bed&breakfast has no restaurant and is a 15 minute ride from Fasano you really need kitchen facilities. There is no food or beverage after breakfast which ends at 9am. We were extremely disappointed that our room did not have the kitchen listed or even tea&coffee facilities. And our view through a tiny 30x50 cm window consisted of the stem of a palm tree….and nothing else…The wifi was useless.We contacted Booking and the accommodation admitted their mistakes but they convinced Booking that they would allow us access to another kitchen. In reality this kitchen access only consisted of being provided with a thermos of warm water and 2 wine glasses. The weather was gorgeous but extremely hot and reached at least 37 degrees every day. The pool area did not offer any parasols, as if they purposely wanted to discourage the guests from using the pool area. It was difficult for us to match our experience with all the positive reviews we had read prior to booking. One of the things we noticed is that a big part of the accommodation, including the kitchen, was claimed by the manager’s daughter and her family. We also think it is possible that the manager who was there, was not the owner we read about in the reviews as they were never nice to us and never made us feel welcome. Summarizing, the area of Puglia and Fasano were wonderful but Villa Tonia unfortunately was a big disappointment.

This place is beautiful, the service is amazing. Tonia and Vito are 2 wonderful amazing Host. This place is a must visit. This villa is something out of a magazine, and is always in pristine shape. Vito and Tonia never disappoint!!!
All I can say is WOW!!! We just stayed at Villa Tonia for the third time...that right there should say it all. 2015, 2018 and again 2022...improvements to the Villa each time. The grounds are amazing, the rooms are clean, and you will not have better hosts than Vito and Tonia. If you are renting 1 room or the entire villa for your family you will not be disappointed. You can relax by the pool, nap in the serenity garden or gather under the covered patio for cocktails. The location is perfect. You can be at the sea in 10 minutes!!! Not to mention all the amazing surrounding towns. I just can't say enough and I can't wait to go back. There is no other place I'd stay!!! The best the very best! This Villa is like no other, the detail the owners the accommodations are just perfect!! Vito and Tonia do everything they can to make sure their guests are treated like family. I have stayed at Villa Tonia 4 times now and hope to stay many more!! Villa Tonia is Amazing
Villa Tonia is the most amazing Villa I have ever been to. The grounds are so beautiful with an amazing pool. The rooms are clean and well maintained. The owners are so attentive and create an outstanding experience. I will continue to go to Villa Tonia and will recommend it to my family and friends who are traveling to Italy. Ero già stata lo scorso anno a settembre e proprio per questo ho convinto i miei amici a fare una settimana di vacanza da Vito e Tonia e siamo stati benissimo!! La struttura in foto è molto bella ma dal vero è spettacolare Non manca veramente nulla Colazioni ricche con torte fatte da Tonia e ogni mattina una piccola sorpresa Tutta è molto curato e pulito e Vito e Tonia sono davvero 2 persone specialiCome detto lo scorso anno sicuramente ci tornerò e  il mio consiglio è di provare non resterete delusi

Siamo stati coccolati!
Splendida vacanza di una settimana presso Villa Tonia in 9 amici più 2 cani! Tutto perfetto, le stanze, il giardino, la piscina e una colazione davvero straordinaria con torte e focacce appena sfornate da Tonia e tanto altro. Eccellente
Siamo stati ospitati in occasione del matrimonio di mia figlia dal signor Vito e la signora Tonia. La villa è meravigliosa e curata in tutti i minimi dettagli. Stanze pulitissime e profumatissime. Piscina e villa meravigliose. Colazione ricca e buonissima. Ritorneremo sicuramente.
